Year in Review

The Spiritual Life Year in Review is an editorial publication documenting the stories, people, and spiritual impact of California Baptist University’s Spiritual Life ministry throughout the 2025–26 academic year. I designed and laid out the publication to transform a large collection of stories, statistics, photography, and ministry content into a cohesive visual narrative that was both engaging and easy to navigate.

The project was especially meaningful because the publication needed to communicate more than what happened during the year—it needed to capture the lasting impact of discipleship, community, and faith on students’ lives. Through intentional typography, photography, pacing, and visual storytelling, the design helps connect individual stories to the larger mission of the ministry.
